NEW TO CHURCH
St John’s, WILBERFORCE
8.00am
A traditional service in our historic and intimate church building. It’s one for the early birds and follows our timeless Prayer Book. We love to remember and celebrate the amazing hope we have through Jesus. Communion is provided on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month. Be sure to stay for a cuppa afterwards, have a chat and enjoy a laugh – we’re a very friendly bunch, real salt of the earth!
9.30am
Contemporary and for all ages – we have just as many children turn up as adults! We meet in the new church and run a fabulous program for kids and junior youth during the school terms. We’re ordinary people but we worship an extraordinary God! Expect good music, great teaching and a warm welcome. Join us for morning tea afterwards and challenge us with your questions.
Junior Youth Bible Study – For Years 7-9
Escape to the School House for an engaging Bible study. We break things down, ask questions and get to know each other more along the way.
Kid’s Church – For Kindergarten to Year 6
Children start with you in the 9.30am service before moving out to the ‘School House’ (another historic building on our grounds). Kid’s church commences upstairs with a large group teaching time before moving into smaller groups for more fun activities. Kid’s church is super popular and lots of fun!
For Pre-Kindergarten Toddlers Aged 2 and Up
This group runs concurrently with kid’s church in the School House.
6.00pm
For the young and young-at-heart! Come as you are and you’ll feel right at home. We usually meet in the new church (but in January we have picnic church on the grass – how awesome!) We’re casual yet real; easy-going yet serious about Jesus. Most weeks we enjoy a supper after the service so, if you can, factor in some extra time as we’d love for you to join us.

St Mark’s, Freemans Reach
9.30am
Here’s proof that good things come in small packages! St Mark’s might not be a big church but it’s a caring church, and it’s a growing church. We meet in our historic digs for a traditional Prayer Book service. On the 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month we include Communion. We love meeting new people, love to chat and our morning teas are delicious (even legendary). Be sure to stay on afterwards and don’t be surprised if you go back for more!

Frequently asked questions
Help! I'm not used to church and I'm a little nervous.
You can let us know you’re coming or you can just show up. We’re so glad you want to visit us!
How long does church go for?
Our services run for approximately 60-80 minutes. We then share morning tea or supper afterwards.
I have children, what's available for my kids during church?
Children are important and we want them to know Jesus just as much as we want you to know Jesus. Children are very welcome in all of our services and we’ll do our best to engage them.
During the 9.30am service at St John’s (in school term periods) we run a great program for children and junior youth. Please see above for more details.
You’re welcome to accompany your children to the kid’s program, meet the leaders, and help them get settled. If your child doesn’t want to attend kid’s church then that’s ok – they’re welcome to stay with you in our main church service.
All our leaders (including volunteers) have completed a Safe Ministry training course, agreed to abide by the Code of Conduct-Faithfulness in Service (2014) and provided a NSW Working With Children Check.
What should I wear?
We’re quite a casual bunch and few get ‘dressed up’ to attend our regular church services. Many of us wear shorts or jeans and thongs. Others prefer to wear a dress or a good shirt. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in (and note that our older church buildings can be rather cold in winter so you may need an extra layer or two).
Do I need to give money?
No, we definitely don’t expect you to give us any money. For more information on the ways to support this church please see Give.
I don't drive, can you help me get to church?
Yes, we’d love to help you get to any one of our church services. Please contact our church office and we’ll happily arrange some transport for you.
What if I'm not a Christian / Anglican / baptised / middle class etc?
We won’t tell if you don’t
!
Seriously, we’re a church made up of people from all different backgrounds, faith-traditions and ideologies. We strongly encourage you to explore the claims of Jesus and the Bible in our safe and supportive environment. We love challenging topics, difficult questions and meaty discussions. God is patient, and we’d love to be on this journey called ‘life’ with you.
Are you new to our church?
If you’ve recently been to one of our events or church services then we’d love to get to know you better! Please provide your details here and, if requested, someone from our church will get in contact with you.
