GIVE

As Christians we understand that Jesus gave his entire life, suffering to the point of death on a cross, for us and for the forgiveness of our sins. In humble response to the love and grace we’ve personally received, the Bible calls us to support the work of God’s church in helping others know Jesus.

There are a number of ways we can give to and support the growth of God’s church both here and in all nations.

We can give by praying – with praise, thanks, being sorry, requesting.

We can give by serving – using our time, various skills and gifts.

We can give financially.

On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income.
1 Corinthians 16:2

Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:6-7

It may come as a surprise but we receive almost no financial support from the wider Anglican Church and no government funding. We rely on donations from our members to exist and function. To operate we need to cover wages, bills, maintain our facilities and pay for equipment and supplies.
